This website is operated by Emerald Street Capital, the marketing name used by Chris Gregson, Financial Advisor, of 1123 Emerald St, San Diego, CA 92109. By accessing the site, submitting a form, or booking an appointment through it, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. If you are using the site on behalf of another person or an entity, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for them.

Everything published here — the pages, the video, the questions on the form and the conversation on an introductory call — is general education about indexed universal life (IUL) and variable universal life (VUL) insurance. It is not financial, investment, insurance, tax or legal advice, it is not a recommendation to buy, sell, replace or surrender any policy, and it does not create an advisory or fiduciary relationship. Personal recommendations are only made after a full review of your circumstances, in writing, through the licensed firms with which Chris is affiliated, and subject to their supervision and approval. VUL is offered by prospectus only. Always consult your own tax adviser or attorney about your own situation.

We do not promise any particular financial outcome, income, return, saving, tax result or level of coverage, and nothing on this site should be read as such a promise. Whether any change to an existing policy or account is possible or advisable depends on your age, health, the product you hold, carrier underwriting and current market conditions, and in many cases the right answer is to change nothing. Any figures or illustrations shown to you are supplied by the issuing carrier or product provider, are hypothetical unless stated otherwise, and are not guarantees. Product guarantees, where they exist, are backed by the claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance carrier. Insurance and investment products are not FDIC insured, carry no bank or government guarantee, and may lose value. Past performance is not indicative of future results.

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use this site or book a call. Services are available only in the states where Chris Gregson holds the appropriate insurance licence and securities registration; we serve all 50 US states, with a primary practice base in California, subject to licensing in each case. There is no minimum asset requirement to book an educational call. As a practical matter, the advisory and portfolio services described here are generally suited to households with about $50,000 or more of investable assets, and any new insurance coverage requires the ability to pay an ongoing premium — commonly from around $100 per month. Some people cannot be offered new coverage at all: carriers decline applications on health grounds, and we will tell you plainly if a review is unlikely to lead anywhere useful.

You agree that the information you give us is accurate and complete, and that you will correct it if it changes; we rely on it to prepare for the call, and inaccurate information leads to a comparison that is worthless to you. By submitting your details you give us permission to contact you by phone, text message and email about your enquiry and your appointment, including reminders, on the basis set out in section 5 of our Privacy Policy. Consent to marketing calls or texts is never a condition of buying anything, and you may withdraw it at any time by replying STOP, or by emailing cgregson101@gmail.com or calling (619) 379-9766.

Appointments are booked through our scheduling tool for a 60 minutes slot during 9:00am – 5:00pm Pacific Time, and Chris calls you at the number you provide. Please reschedule or cancel using the link in your confirmation, or by calling or emailing us, if your plans change. If you are not reachable at the appointed time we will usually try once more and then release the slot; repeated no-shows may mean we decline to rebook. Calls may be recorded or monitored for quality, training, supervision and regulatory record-keeping purposes; if you do not wish to be recorded, tell us at the start of the call. We may also take written notes of what is discussed and retain them as our records require.

You may not use this site to break the law or to interfere with its operation. That includes submitting false, impersonated or automated form entries, scraping or harvesting data, probing or attempting to gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems behind it, introducing malicious code, overloading the site, copying or republishing its content for your own commercial use, or using our name, logo or material in a way that suggests an endorsement we have not given. We may refuse service, remove submissions and block access where we reasonably believe this section has been breached.

Parts of this site rely on third parties — our scheduling tool, our form provider, our video host, our email and text message providers, our analytics and advertising platforms — and pages may link to insurance carriers, custodians or other outside sites. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which you should read. We do not control them, we are not responsible for their content, availability, security or practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that any information on it is complete or current.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Emerald Street Capital and Chris Gregson are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost opportunity or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of this site, even if advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the site or the educational content on it is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100). Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including under federal or state securities or insurance laws, and nothing here waives any right you have under those laws.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Emerald Street Capital, Chris Gregson and their affiliates, agents and service providers from any claim, demand, loss, liability, cost or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of the rights of any third party.

We may change these terms at any time. The revised version takes effect when it is posted here with a new effective date, and where the change is material we will give reasonable notice on the site. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the revision. We may also change, suspend or withdraw the site or any part of it, and we may end your access to it, at any time and without notice, including where we believe you have breached these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — including sections 2, 3, 9, 10 and 12 — survive any termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you and we agree that the state and federal courts located in San Diego County, California, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, subject to any mandatory arbitration or dispute-resolution process required by the regulators or firms through which securities and insurance business is transacted.
