This policy explains what Emerald Street Capital collects when you use this site or book a call, how that information is used and who it is shared with, and the choices you have — including how to stop our calls, texts and emails at any time.
Emerald Street Capital is the marketing name used by Chris Gregson, a licensed financial advisor based at 1123 Emerald St, San Diego, CA 92109. Through this site we offer educational material about indexed universal life (IUL) and variable universal life (VUL) insurance, and we invite visitors to book a free 60 minutes Policy Service Check-In. This policy covers the information collected through this website, the forms and scheduler embedded on it, and the phone, text and email follow-up that results from a request you submit here.
Questions about this policy, or about the information we hold on you, can be sent to cgregson101@gmail.com or called in to (619) 379-9766 during 9:00am – 5:00pm Pacific Time. Written requests can be mailed to Emerald Street Capital, 1123 Emerald St, San Diego, CA 92109.
Information you give us. When you complete a form or book a call you provide details such as your name, email address, phone number, age range, state of residence, and answers about the IUL or VUL policy you already hold — for example the carrier, the death benefit, the premium you pay and approximate cash value. During or after a call we keep notes of what was discussed and any documents or illustrations you choose to share with us.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site we and our analytics and advertising providers receive your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring page, the pages and sections you view, the time and duration of your visit, and advertising click identifiers appended to the link you arrived on (such as Meta's fbclid or Google's gclid). This is collected through cookies and similar technologies as described in section 6.
Scheduling information. When you book, our scheduling tool records the date and time you selected, the time zone and the email address the confirmation is sent to, along with any notes you add to the booking, and it may send you reminders before the call.
We do not ask for, and you should never send us, account numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers or banking credentials through this website or by email. Information needed for a formal application is collected later through the issuing carrier's or custodian's own secure process.
To respond to you, confirm your booking and conduct the call, including reminders by phone, text or email before the appointment and follow-up afterwards.
To assess fit — that is, to understand what you already own and whether a review, a product or a service we can lawfully offer in your state is relevant to your situation, and to tell you when it is not.
To send educational material — newsletters, explainers and invitations — only where you have consented to receive it, and only until you tell us to stop.
To measure and improve advertising, by understanding which campaigns and pages lead to a booking so we spend our advertising budget sensibly. This may involve sharing hashed identifiers with ad platforms as described in section 4.
To meet legal, supervisory and regulatory obligations, including books-and-records, suitability, supervision and compliance-review requirements applicable to a licensed insurance producer and a registered representative, and to detect and prevent fraud or misuse of the site.
We share information with the service providers who operate this funnel on our behalf, under contracts that limit them to processing it for us: our customer relationship management system, our appointment scheduler, our form provider, our email and SMS delivery providers, our website and analytics providers, and the advertising platforms we use (principally Meta and Google). Where you proceed to an application, information you authorise is shared with the issuing insurance carrier, and with the broker-dealer and registered investment adviser through which securities and advisory services are offered and supervised. We also disclose information where the law, a regulator, a subpoena or a court order requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in exchange for money. We have not sold personal information in the preceding twelve months.
By giving us your phone number and submitting a form on this site, you consent to receive calls and text messages from Emerald Street Capital and Chris Gregson at that number, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialling system or an artificial or prerecorded voice, about your enquiry and your appointment. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or service, and you may decline to give it and still contact us directly at (619) 379-9766.
Message frequency varies and is typically no more than a few messages per appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of further texts, or HELP for help. You may also ask to be removed from calls, texts or email at any time by emailing cgregson101@gmail.com or calling (619) 379-9766. Opting out of marketing messages does not stop transactional messages relating to an appointment you have already booked. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
This site uses cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to make it work, plus analytics and advertising tags. The advertising and measurement tools we use include the Meta pixel and conversions API, Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing tags, and website analytics. These let us see which advertisement or page brought you here and show you our advertising on other platforms.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can limit interest-based advertising directly with the platforms: Meta at facebook.com/adpreferences, Google at adssettings.google.com, and across participating networks at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org. You can opt out of Google Analytics measurement with the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Turning these off does not stop you seeing advertising; it makes the advertising you see less relevant. We honour Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of sharing where applicable law requires it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it, to receive a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of sale or sharing for targeted advertising (we do not sell), to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. California residents hold these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, and residents of other US states hold comparable rights under their own laws. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the GDPR, and the right to complain to your supervisory authority — though note that this site is directed at United States residents only.
To exercise any of these rights, email cgregson101@gmail.com or call (619) 379-9766 with the phrase "privacy request" and the state you reside in. We will verify your identity using information we already hold, respond within the time the applicable law allows (generally 45 days in California, extendable once where permitted), and tell you if we cannot comply and why. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorisation. Some information must be retained where books-and-records rules that apply to licensed insurance and securities professionals require it, and we will tell you when that is the case.
We keep enquiry and appointment information for as long as needed to serve you and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to a licensed insurance producer and a registered representative — which in practice means several years after our last interaction, and longer where a policy or account was placed. Marketing contact records are kept until you opt out, plus the period needed to prove that you were opted out.
We protect information with access controls, encrypted transmission and reputable vendors that maintain their own security programmes. No website, email or storage system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; please do not send sensitive account credentials or identification numbers to us by email or through this site.
This website is intended for United States residents aged 18 or older. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact cgregson101@gmail.com and we will delete it. Services described here are available only in the states where Chris Gregson is appropriately licensed and registered; nothing here is an offer in any jurisdiction where that would not be permitted.
We may update this policy as our practices, our tools or the law change. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page, and where the change is material we will give notice on the site or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy. The version published here is always the current one.
